Clients
Here’s some examples of clients, sites and projects that I’ve worked on recently….
If you’re looking for something specific or want to know if I can help you with your project then don’t hesitate to get in touch for a chat. I’d be happy to show you through my work in more detail.
Cambridge Assessment
I’ve been working with the Cambridge University International Examinations board on a number of very exciting digital projects that are helping to transform their organisation. Part of a big Agile development team it’s been fantastic to be involved in the full project life cycle from inception right the way to launch. There are many talented individuals that it has been a delight to work with. In fact, it’s still keeping me pretty busy…
“Dave has been a seamless part of our team helping us with delivering large transformational change for our organisation. His insight, enthusiasm and drive have been vital to getting our projects designed and delivered quickly and effectively.”
“Dave has been instrumental in helping our business transform to online business processes. With a large organisation it’s no mean feat to gather requirements and design how new online processes are going to work. Dave has straddled the business requirements and the technical solution with rapid, iterative prototyping in Axure. The prototypes have been the backbone of our Agile software development sprints and are used by the business to sign off requirements, by the developers as a specification and by the QA team as the basis for the test plan.”
Abbey Road Studios
A tour around the hallowed studios to inspire a great new website worthy of this revered and dynamic institution on behalf of Saint. Here it is:
“Dave cracked it! He understood the requirements of the project straight away and was able to get it right first time. He not only created the foundations to the new Abbey Road architecture but also gained respect of everyone who worked with him”
Darley
A nice visit to the amazing Dalham stud in Newmarket with Ware Anthony Rust to get the brief from the horse’s mouth (sorry…) to create a brand new website with sumptuous imagery and lots of detailed information about pedigree, performance and hypothetical matings.
Dave worked seamlessly with the agency project team to produce a comprehensive and usable information architecture for what has become a large and complex website, which, thanks to Dave’s input, is at the same time structurally and navigationally sound.

These guys are great and we do lots of together for financial services clients from their fabulous offices in Clerkenwell. From the big name investment companies to the boutiques and established players, they have it covered.
Dave is a digital guru. He is extremely knowledgeable and bursting with ideas. Dave has worked as our in-house IA for two years and during that time he has helped us bring many different websites to life. He can very quickly eek out requirements from clients, and create website architecture and wireframes. He is passionate about user-centred design and usability principles. I have absolute faith in Dave’s abilities and wouldn’t hesitate recommending him for IA projects of any size.

A start-up that was my brainchild. While working for CSR specialists www.flag.co.uk I was awarded a DTI Smart Grant to get the idea off-the-ground and saw the business well on it’s way to the success it is today. I like being entrepreneurial and usually have something interesting on the go in the background…
Dave came up with the concept and then took it into production and development with limited budget and resources. He got high profile clients on board quickly and kick-started the business getting government funding for technically innovative start ups and had the vision and focus to make the business succeed.

I’ve been working on some top-secret high profile projects for this agency. A variety of projects creating up to 80 page IA and interaction design specifications with which to hit designers, developers and clients around the head… very useful! Big big brand names.
Dave is great to work with, he is professional and efficient. He turn things around quickly when required, works well under pressure and is highly enthusiastic. He understands business needs and manages client expectations well.
Saint
More hush, hush important digital projects for the luminaries in Mornington Crescent. Suffice to say, they’re a great team to work with.
Lateral
Over to Old Street with the long-standing digital pioneers working on more stuff I couldn’t possibly tell you about I’m afraid, Other than the fact that it was some really rather cutting edge digital work…
U&US
Working on an exciting start-up web application business and one of the world’s leading food brands who want to up the ante. It’s certainly nice to work with both large and small organisations.
Arts Quarter
Working on interesting Arts Council AmbITIon projects with arts organisations in the East (HoiPolloi, Aldeburgh Music, The Poetry Trust, Britten Sinfonia, Colchester Arts Centre). Keeping it local. Arts Quarter is a dynamic new start up with tons of experience in cultural and not-for-profit.
We are pleased to have Dave Potts as an Associate of Arts Quarter LLP and know that our arts clients continue to enjoy working with him. Dave brings a wealth of expertise that is proving to be invaluable to the cultural sector and we look forward to having a long and mutually rewarding relationship with him.
Ware Anthony Rust
Local talent to me in Cambridge. They’ve moved to nice new offices and have a great team of people. Always a pleasure.
Courtauld Gallery & Institute of Art
On the Strand in London is a gem of an academic institution and gallery. Bringing the website up-to-date in time for the 75th anniversary needed some big workshops with all the different people who work and study there represented as well as user input. A new brand identity from Salter Baxter and lots of healthy debate about how best to represent the different facets of the organisation.
